PARTINGS is a short film based in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, India. The film foregrounds the sensitivity of an autistic child just as it is also about the complexity of human and social relationships. It is about Azhar’s friendship and understanding with Sunrita. It is also about the social matrix of post 1971 Bengal, where Bangladesh and West Bengal share the common love of the Bangla folk culture and the language.
