Just as colours blend with colours in a painting, music blends colours too leading to visualization. The Album “WAVES”, intends to mingle painting with music and rhythm as a creative venture by Shri Anirban Dasgupta on Sarode, Nishaant Singh on pakhawaj, Jayita Sengupta with her brushes and ideations. Creative inspiration comes from the Divine, and is an offering to the Divine. Just as the waves rise and fall, ebb and flow, with a reverberating ‘Aum’ in Nature, the creative breath manifests itself through the meditative process of visualization along with melody and rhythm, rising through the spine to the ‘sahasrara’, for a divine orchestration. There will be a series of raga moods responded to through visual images as ideations and paintings in this Album, from dawn to night. We are extremely grateful to Shri Saikat Shekhareswar Ray for the overall supervision of our devotional project.
